Exness Fees & Trading Costs
What a trade costs with Exness — the spread, the commission where one applies, and the overnight charge that arrives on the platform's clock rather than the local one.
Open Exness Account →Exness charges no deposit or withdrawal fee and $0 commission on Standard and Pro accounts — your main cost is the spread. The Raw Spread and Zero accounts trade spreads from 0.0 pips for a small commission instead (Raw Spread up to $3.50 per side per lot). An overnight swap applies to positions held past the daily rollover unless your account is swap-free.
What the broker charges, and what it does not
The list below is what the broker charges. What a position actually costs over time also depends on when it is held, and the clock that decides that is the platform's, not the local one.
- No deposit fee and no withdrawal fee charged by Exness (your payment provider may add its own).
- $0 commission on Standard and Pro accounts — your only cost is the spread.
- Raw Spread and Zero accounts charge a small commission (Raw Spread up to $3.50 per side per lot) in exchange for spreads from 0.0 pips.
- Overnight swap applies to positions held past the daily rollover, unless you hold a swap-free (Islamic) account.
- No inactivity fee on Exness accounts.
Where the cost sits by account

| Standard | 0.3 pips | $0 |
| Pro | 0.1 pips | $0 |
| Raw Spread | 0.0 pips | up to $3.50 / side / lot |
| Zero | 0.0 pips on majors | from $0.20 / side |
When the overnight charge lands, on a UTC+3 clock
Swap is applied at the platform's daily rollover, and that moment is set by the server's clock rather than by local time. Local time here is UTC+3 and never changes, while the servers most brokers run follow a European clock that does move twice a year — so the local hour at which a position is charged shifts by an hour in spring and again in autumn. The exact rollover hour is shown in the platform itself; it is worth re-reading it after each change rather than assuming last season's time.
A position opened and closed inside the same trading day never reaches rollover and is not charged swap at all. A position carried through Wednesday's rollover is normally charged three days' worth in one go, because the value date rolls over the coming weekend. Swap-free (Islamic) accounts do not accrue swap on eligible instruments.
Costs are quoted in the account currency
Spreads, commission and swap are all expressed in the currency the account is denominated in, which is not the currency of everyday prices here. Converting each cost into local money in your head makes small differences look larger or smaller than they are; comparing costs in the account currency, and only converting when funds actually move, keeps the comparison honest.
The cost that is easiest to forget
Spread and commission are visible at the moment of entry, so they get compared carefully. Swap is charged quietly, once a day, for as long as a position stays open — which makes it the cost that decides whether a position held for three weeks was worth holding. Before a trade is left open past the rollover, it is worth reading the swap figure for that specific instrument and direction: on some instruments one direction is charged and the other is credited, and the two are rarely symmetrical.
